DC-DC Internships
Comments: The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) was founded in 1967 to help instill in young people an appreciation for the American form of government and the free enterprise system. TFAS sponsors Institutes that teach college students about the principles and values upon which the United States was founded. Program includes an internship in DC, classes at Georgetown University, and a furnished apartment in DC for the duration of the program.

Fed-Department of State
Comments: Home page of the U.S. Department of State. “Careers” tab contains information on jobs within and related to the State Dept. including foreign service, intelligence, Peace Corps, etc.

Fed-Department of the Interior
Comments: Homepage of the US Department of the Interior, the government’s branch for cultural and natural preservation and steward to Native Americans and Alaska Natives. Contains resources for job seeking, internships, and current vacancies in the Department.

Fed-Environmental Protection Agency
Comments: Environmental Protection Agency homepage. Has resources for careers, partnerships, internships, fellowships, student employment, and human resources jobs.

Fed-Federal Jobs Digest

Fed-Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE)
Comments: “The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy institute focusing on scientific initiatives to research health risks from occupational hazards, assess environmental cleanup, respond to radiation medical emergencies, support national security and emergency preparedness, and educate the next generation of scientists.” Find scholarships, fellowships, internships, research experiences, and sabbaticals available to recent graduates with Associate degrees, Bachelors degrees, or Masters degrees.
