CIA (Central Intellegence Agency)
Comments: Look under the “CIA Careers” Tab. There are many internship and co-op opportunities for undergraduate students as well as graduate students.

Peace Corps
Comments: Peace Corps Volunteers work for two years in the following areas: education, youth outreach, and community development; health and HIV/AIDS; agriculture and environment; business development; and information technology. Within these areas, the specific duties and responsibilities of each Volunteer can vary widely. Volunteers receive a living allowance, stipend for transitioning after their service, and can defer repayment of some student loans.

Stanford in Government International Internships
Comments: This student group connects with organizations which would otherwise be difficult to obtain an internships with. Fellowship locations are announced in November and applications are due in early January.

US Department of State
Comments: Information on opportunities to work abroad with the Department of State

US Trade and Development Agency
Comments: Foreign assistance agency for the U.S. Government. Click on the “Job Opportunities” Tab to view available jobs and internships.
