CARDINAL RECRUITING - FALL 2009

Please note — all Cardinal Recruiting resume submissions commence at 12:01 am Pacific Time on the start date and end at 11:59 pm Pacific Time on the final date.

Remember that the Intent to Participate form must be submitted once every academic year to utilize Cardinal Recruiting. Once you submit the on-line activation form, we will activate your account within two business days. If you have not activated your Cardinal Recruiting account this academic year, you must click the “Cardinal Recruiting” icon on the home page of your account, fill out the Intent to Participate form, and submit. You’ll receive an email from the system to let you know you are activated for Cardinal Recruiting and able to access employer jobs, visit information, etc.

If you are already activated for Cardinal Recruiting, the INTERVIEWS link on your Cardinal Careers account will be active.
If you haven't already activated Cardinal Recruiting, log-in to your Cardinal Careers account, you will see an "Activate Cardinal Recruiting" link on the left side of your Cardinal Careers homepage. Click the link and complete the 'Intent to Participate' form. The CDC will activate your account for the 2008-2009 Cardinal Recruiting program and notify you by email once you are activated.

Students who encrypt or upload a resume in pdf format will experience issues when employer interview packets are generated. The resumes themselves will display correctly and will be available to employers -- it's only when they are bundled into packets that the problem occurs. Affected students will need to re-upload the documents in their original format and let the system complete the conversion. In general, students should always be instructed not to encrypt their documents.

FALL 2009 RECRUITING UPDATES
Updates are posted during the day

You are responsible for knowing the Cardinal Recruiting trigger dates for positions you submit your resume to: submission deadlines preselect sign-up dates, alternate sign-up dates and schedule close dates. In most* cases, emails are sent to students alerting them to interview invitations. In ALL cases, there will be an “alert!” message on your Cardinal Careers home page to sign up for your interview. If you select not to receive CDC emails, you will not receive Interview sign-up emails.

*Occasionally employers require additional time to make their preselections. Moving their preselect deadline will affect the system email function. Please note that the interview email will be sent to the email of record on your Cardinal Careers account.
